Microsoft Surface Book 2 Mixed Reality Set

Ich habe mir nach langer Überlegung das Surface Book 2 (i7, 256GB) nebst Surface Pen gekauft. Aus meiner Sicht bietet dieses Gerät für seinen stolzen Preis vor allem folgende Vorteile: Leistungsstarke Hardware, hervorragendes Display, gute Tastatur und Trackpad (besser als aktuelle MacBooks), stimmiges Gesamtkonzept. Leider ärgern mich folgende Punkte: Der Dock-Mechanismus hängt gelegentlich und macht seltsame Geräusche (fortwährendes Klackern und Brummen). Der Tablet-Teil wird schnell heiß und ist lediglich passiv gekühlt. Der sehr teure Surface Pen produziert nach einigen Minuten Nutzung nur noch Zickzacklinien. Vor allem letzteres Problem ärgert mich über die Maße, da es gemäß Webrecherche seit längerem bekannt und von Microsoft ignoriert wird. Meine 5 (!) Versuche, den Microsoft Support telefonisch zu kontaktieren sind bis heute erfolglos (Höhepunkt: zwei Mal >1h Warteschleife mit anschließendem Verbindungsabbruch). Ich kann daher derzeit nur vom Kauf abraten.

I had been saving my money for this dream machine over half a year. I had been using a MacBook pro for 4 years and not once I had felt switching, till they launched the 15 inch version. And finally I was able to buy it. What a device, what a minimal beauty, I was astonished since the time I opened the package and turned it on. I am a designer and this machine is made for people like us. I also bought the much necessary pen and the dial and eventually the precision mouse. What a beautiful portable workstation. I was literally paperless after trying to do that for almost a half a decade now. But then one fine day I opened the laptop and found that the screen had a crack. The most troubling part was last night I just closed the lid and slept. There was no fall, no physical damage or anything else, absolutely nothing. I was baffled. How can this happen and I don't know who or what to blame. My MacBook has survived worst falls and it still is intact. I am disappointed and broken hearted.

Habe das surface book 2 nun seit 2 wochen und es macht einfach nur Spaß. Als Architekt benötige ich ein leistungsstarkes Gerät. Das Surface book 2 schafft alle Apps von Photoshop - BIM - Revit problemlos, die Größe und Qualität ist 1A. Aber das größte plus ist der Surface Pen und die Option zeichnen zu können.
